There are plenty of things to keep you amused around Golf del Sur. For those of you who just want an easy holiday then relax by the side of the pool however if you’re looking for more to do during your stay, here are a few suggestions.

Scuba Diving: There are various different places offering scuba diving around Golf del Sur, many PADI registered. Check out a few different places to see what’s on offer.
Car Hire: Why not explore the rest of Tenerife? There are plentiful car hire companies located in the San Blas Commercial Centre. Pick up your free map and explore the Isla Afortunada of Tenerife.
Bowling: Winter Gardens is home to grass bowls where various bowling competitions are held. If you fancy a game while you’re here then call them on (00 34) 922 738683.
Gyms & Spas: For those of you feeling energetic or looking for some relaxing therapies then there are various gyms and spas in Golf del Sur. El Nautico offers a gym with sauna and turkish bath. Winter Gardens also houses a health and beauty spa with sauna, steam room and gym. Visit the Aguamarina hotel where you can also receive various treatments including massage and acupuncture.
Walking: There are plenty of walks around Golf del Sur. Why not walk the whole way round, an easy 3km walk to get you started or perhaps take a walk along the clifftop paths to the sleepy little fishing village of Los Abrigos where you can sit and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. Whatever level of walking, there is plenty of gorgeous walks around. Pick up a map from any of the estate agents or rent a car offices in San Blas.
GOLFING
The Golf del Sur course first opened in 1987 and since then has hosted many prestigious competitions including the Tenerife Open. Golf del Sur, originally designed by Pepe Gancedo, was remodelled in 2005 by Manuel Piñero. The golf course sits on 800,000m2 of greens, volcanic black sand bunkers, and two water hazards. The 27 hole Golf del Sur course is divided into three courses:the North Course, a 2949m, 9 hole course with two par 3 holes, five par 4 holes and two par 5 holes. The South Course is slightly bigger at 2957m with two par 3 holes, five par 4 holes and two par 5 holes. The latest edition to the Golf del Sur family is the Links course covering 2853m. The Links course has two par 3 holes, five par 4 holes and two par 5 holes.

Amarilla Golf
The Amarilla Golf course was first opened in 1989 a year after the first Tenerife Open. An 18 hole golf course covering 6077m. The course has four par 3 holes, ten par 4 holes and four par 5 holes. Also available at the Amarilla Golf course is Pitch and Putt with prices starting from just 10€ for 9 holes.
